Heineken celebrates Paris with a quirky insider

Who’s better than a Parisian to give a tour of Paris?!

In its latest video “The Insider” Heineken celebrates true city insiders, those who don’t hesitate to share their city’s hidden gems with others. Or at least encourages men to do so.

Have you ever seen tourists following the legendary guide’s umbrella? heineken the insider paris mime
Having lived in Paris, I have, A LOT, and I personally find it a bit sad to think about all the real things they are going to miss. Paris isn’t just the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame or Les Champs Elysées. Paris is full of surprises, quirky streets and mysterious shops and bars that you wouldn’t even imagine if you don’t get to live the city like a local.

That’s what this new spot is all about: a young charming man rescuing a group of tourists just about to board on a Seine cruise tour and taking them on an unforgettable journey. A true city insider / sexy hero (judge by yourself below) who’s not exploring just for himself but for others.

Au programme: vintage scooters through Montmartre, underground club in the Catacombs and Can-Can show.

A really nice and energetic job from the agency Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam that fits nicely within the “Open your city” work.

And makes us almost feel homesick 😉
