Last week the Protein World’s controversial “Beach Body Ready” campaign was displayed in London’s tube.
This week Carlsberg is hijacking the ad, in London’s tube.
The new billboard, also pushed in social media, features the famous green beer bottle wearing a yellow bikini along with the tag line “Are you beer body ready?”
“At Carlsberg, we’re not bothered about beer drinkers being beach body ready, our priority is ensuring they’re able to enjoy a nice, cold Carlsberg without worrying about their appearance” said Dharmesh Rana, senior brand manager at Carlsberg UK.
A nice move from the brand that is capitalising upon the attention created by Protein World, whose ad had been banned from appearing again in its current form.
Nice one Carlsberg, you keep surprising us.
